VoIP Provider - hardware review deleted

Had an interesting experience today...

I took the time and trouble to post a review of one of my VoIP routers one of the VoIP providers website. (My VoIP provider, actually)

I received an email stating

'Your review online was removed as we did not find any proof that you purchased the item from us.'

Seems strange. I am a VoIP customer of theirs.

It goes on:

'As you can see from our past reviews, we are happy to accept negative reviews but only in the context where it is proven that we have provided the goods being reviewed.'

And... they still have no reviews for that particular product.

Does it really matter where you bought the hardware? If they offer the space for you to review and you can be bothered, they should then honour it.

Needless to say, I will be writing off the £6.02 credit I have with them and not bother darkening their website or sip servers again. (Glad to say, I never gave anyone that phone number)

So, beware VoIP providers reviews. They only allow good ones.

I guess ukvoiptalk wont do the same
