Don't sign up wth BT

you'll regret it for ever more - take any action to avoid signing up with BT. i moved house half way through being tied into their contract and was unable to transfer it with me. During my use of them I had to make many long phone calls ( 2 - 3 hrs) to get BT to provide the service originally promised and not to overcharge us or take incorrect payments.
When I then called up to cancel my contract with this truly rubbish internet and phone provider it took a very long time for the BT worker to understand that this is what I wished to do. I was told it would leave a final bill of approx £30 which would be billed to me accordingly to my new address. brilliant - thought all sorted and forgot about it. But no to show how rubbish BT really are it now seems they never cancelled it and would like £160 from me now - do not sign up with BT it is purely misery from start to finish
