Not the last time I looked, Ron.

Incidentally, with apologies for veering off topic, and indeed for spoiling
the illusion, didn't I catch you two in another place corresponding very
civilly a couple of weeks back?

"Aah", thought I, "that's nice, they're quite nice people, deep down".

Were I of a more emotional bent, I might even have wiped a tear from my eye.

As I think your number is a Sipgate one, it'll be before I start hacking the
bejazus out of the configuration doings, so before noon, but out of
consideration for the probable fact that you'll have worked late on
Wednesday, not as early as this!

Ok, I'll be here.

It just crossed my mind due to the fact that I know Ivor don't like to
spend money on quality phone calls and services .
On a different subject I get the feeling that the Pirelli is out of
the same stable as the UT Starcom so to speak and if it is it will be
a load of junk which would explain why Sipgate are selling them so
cheap . My three Starcom F1000's have been sat in a cupboard for
months now battery life is rubbish besides which with the free calls
from BT and free minutes on mobile who needs VOIP anymore .
I look forward to reading any reports on how the Pirelli performs .

Any chance of adding a text field to that form for additional info
like best time to call or other relevant notes?

By the way, form playing with mine here, the only way I see to call a
SIP address like 1111111@sipgate.co.uk is to add an entry to your
contacts and then call it by accessing the addressbook. When you save
an entry to the contacts list be sure to add it to the "phone" (under
the VOIP entry) rather than the SIM card. If you try to add it to the
SIM it won't accept letters and characters like @.

Cheers

Excellent wheeze, but that would infer some kind of organisational method on
my part. Not knowing if the phone will arrive when promised, or indeed
whether some calamity might interfere with my own plans, I'd rather not
commit myself too much.

Again, the method will be a handraulic one rather than copy, paste and
click. Even as I type, I'm soaking my right thumb in vinegar.

Fair enough. Just thought that as you'd gone to all the effort of
setting up a form that already has 2 text fields, it wouldn't be too
much to add another. I'm sure you'll understand I'd rather not post
personal details to the group. Never mind.
