Default PAP2 firmware - should I update?

Hi all,

I have a PAP2 (an unlocked PAP2-NA) that reports it is running Firmware
Version: 2.0.12(LS).

I _believe_ that newer versions of the firmware support
day-light-saving. Is this reason enough to update? Or would I regret it
(i.e. if the newer firmware is more flakey).

I've downloaded 3.1.22 firmware from the Linksys.com website (MD5
below); is this the correct version? (I'm nervous I'm going to turn my
PAP2 into a door-stop!).

TIA,

Peter.

I recently upgraded mine to 5.1.1 with no negative issues as a result

Is the 5.1.1 firmware for the PAP2 or PAP2T?
And if not, where did you download your firmware from?

The funny thing is, the UK part of the Linksys site has far fewer
downloads available for the PAP2 than the US one!

Anyway, I bit the bullet and did the upgrade and everything worked
perfectly and I'm now running 3.1.22(LS)! And none of my settings have
been lost either -- I had an idea I might need to re-enter everything!

Thank you! And thanks Bob also!! :)

Hope you turned provisioning off (Provision Enable = no) just in case it
has been locked to a provider.
