He says he is intending to start one. The fact that it doesn't yet exist
doesn't mean it can't be advertised.

It does and it is.

Employment is a requirement for advertisement?

Simple, every time you mention the company or provide a link to their
web site that is an advertisement. Anyone reading one of your posts
having not heard of the company may well click on a link. This is
obviously a far more effective advert that which the OP posted so I
guess you should ban yourself from this forum. ;-)

No, it's a recommendation. For it to be an advert I would have to gain
some revenue from it.

ROFL! What a tenuous argument you have descended to.

Ivor Jones has brought this to us :

I don't think he was, nor do I think you did in your first reply. By
your 2nd reply, you'd forgotten that he hadn't mentioned any companies
whatsoever.

Erm, surely, he would actually have to /advertise/ it then - a link, a
name, something....?

I have resisted this thread, however, I cannot any more.........

I would love to start a VoIP company; are you suggesting I couldn't ask
for advice here?

Please can you stop this, Ivor - /I/ don't want to killfile you.

Based on Ivors logic? No. Because you might just possibly, perhaps,
maybe, sometime in the future post a slightly sales biassed message.

[color=blue]

I just which he was big enough to admit he over reacted and is wrong on
this one.

I'm not squirming, but you seem to be doing a good impression.

Referring to dictionaries will do you no good, it didn't work for the
forum/newsgroup debacle and it won't work now.
