Default Dial Plan Help

Hi

Ages (a couple of years) someone helped me with a dial plan for my router??

I have had issues and reset the damm thing as well as a firmware reset.

It is currently

(*xx|[3469]11|0|00|[2-9]xxxxxx|1xxx[2-9]xxxxxxS0|xxxxxxxxxxxx.)

It was perfect, for local numbers, banned 09 numbers and 999 rang my local
police station.

My UK area code is 0151

Can anyone help me, or maybe copy and paste, so I can try and work it out.

Many thanks in advance.

What nickname did you post with?

I have the group archived and can't see a thread /started/ by you that
asked for this info in 2005.....

Most of that plan seems gibberish to me. So lets start from the
beginning.

<:0151>[2-9]xxxxxx
Will take care of 'local' numbers

0[12]xx.
Will do UK national

999
Will do emergency.

giving :-
(999|<:0151>[2-9]xxxxxx|0[12]xx.)

HOWEVER !!
This all depends on the operator you are using. Sometimes it is
necessary to enter the country code and international access code in
the plan.

This is a very simple solution but is will allow calls to UK
geographic landlines and 999.

Remove 'no_spam_' from email address.

I think this might do it

(*xx|<0:0044>[1-8]xx.|<:0044151>[2-8]xxxxx|[3469]11|0|00|[2-9]xxxxxx|1xxx[2-9]xxxxxxS0|xxxxxxxxxxxx.)

I have to add in my local police station, and maybe also something to stop
dialling 09 numbers.

Got the info from a group search and www.leafcom.co.uk

Looks about right to me, my current dial string for the Sipura is:

( *x. | 1x71S0 | <*1:1571>S0 | 123S0 | 174S0 | 411S0 |
<999:08457444888>S0 | <112:08457444888>S0 | <:01952>[2-9]xxxxx |
0[1-3]xxxxxxxxx | 07xxxxxxxxx | 0[58]0[058]xxxxxxx | 0870 x. | 0871 x. |
0845 x. | 00[2-9]xxxxx. | 001[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxx )

It replaces 999 or 112 with the local 0845 police number; it allows *xxx
numbers (for feature codes), 1471, 1571, etc, it puts my dial code (01952)
on local numbers, allows 01, 02 or 03 number, 07, 0500, 0800, 0808 free
number, 0870, 0871 (though I think I should block these 10p/min numbers),
0845, 00 int and (a special custom one for 001 US number (can't remember
why, but there was a good reason at the time). Also, as there's no rule of
09 number, they're not dialable either.

Regards
Alan

Thanks for all the help guys, I have settled on...

(*xx|<0:0044>[1-8]xx.|<:0044151>[2-8]xxxxxx>S0||<999:00441517096010>S0|<112:00441517096010>S0|1xxx[2-9]xxxxxxS0|xxxxxxxxxxxx.)

It appears to work ok??

Alan, you refer to 1471, 1571??. I suppose I could link 1571 to the voice
mail number of voipstunt?? If they have one, I have just realised I don't
have a incoming number for them??. Can I get one, can not see it on the
site.

Ping {{{{{Welcome}}}}}} who apparently has an inexpensive method of
achieving this.
