Jono back to my original post of my 1899 bill showing an extra 2p per call
this stands, the connection charge shown on the site is definitely 4p for
cable customers and no mention of 5p for uk calls for cable customers. Even
if it were 5p which it is not it would still not account for an extra 2p per
call. Anyway enough is enough no more postings from me.

Ofcom states that 0800 and 0808 are paid for by the receiver (1 way revinue)
low call is split revinue (you often pay more than a local call) and are
billed by the telco and the receiver (but ur bill shows receiver).. the
0800/0808 bills are transparent to you as they would pay ntl for the call.

Ofcom do state that fixed lines carry no charge for 0800 and 0808

Is this page changing because I am sorry but I do not think I can not
find what you are referring to.

I can see this but is it what you mean:

"Rates are in pence per minute. Calls are billed per minute rounded to
the nearest penny, include 17,5% VAT and are subject to change. Calls
are subject to a 4p connection fee or 5p for calls within the UK."
