How did you get on- Have you solved your problem?? Did you manage to phone them. I must admit I have found their service to be excellent. As I said I phoned them up before I had the box and they give good advice. After buying the box I e-mailed them on Monday because I needed an Austrian telephone adaptor I got a German one with my box. I just said where can I buy one. I got an e-mail back the next day saying they would send one to me free of charge and it was sent on Wednesday and I am tracking it on UPS. So excellent service so far. The problem is having a job as well as setting this up at home, sometimes I'm not here during others working hours :-( On the e-mail front AVM still haven't answered my last e-mail sent to them on Monday with the screenshots they requested. I've been trying the German HO number all morning and get nothing but engaged tone. Rang the Dutch helpline and got through to a guy with excellent English! However, he said they were only allowed to provide telephone support to Benelux users. He promised to let AVM know of my frustrations. Just tried the German HO number again and got through :-) Explained the problem and asked for help and the guy who answered told me that they provide no English telephone support. Support in English is by e-mail only. I said that didn't work and that I'm still waiting for answers after 4 days. He offered apologies and nothing else. Malcolm |
