And this *still* isn't a forum (cue Paul Cupis..)

All I can say is that the Sipgate service was plagued with constantly
dropped calls - conversation was dropped all the time.

With voip.co.uk, i have never had that problem. The tech support is
fine - an awful lot better than many others including NTL that I have
suffered. Chris - think is his name - always answers promptly and
usually has a resolution.

Emphasis on the word *was* - yes, it *was* - in my personal experience it
*isn't* NOW. Don't fall into Ron's trap of slagging off someone for what
they *used* to be like.

You can call an apple an orange but that doesn't make it one.

And of course if you are like me you will believe in the old adage
2 A leopard just cannot change its spots"I mean if someone lets me
down once they will never get the chance to let me down again ever .
Now with Sipgate you get people like yourself coming to this forum
telling people of their bad experiences with the damned company from
time to time and you get just ONE person telling everyone how bloody
wonderful they are.
ONE right EVERYONE else wrong NEVER .[color=blue]

Of course where your problems connected with your ISP or telephone
line that your adsl service was supplied via you would have problems
with all VOIP services .

AGAIN I say a leopard cannot change its spots so why give them or any
other provider for that matter a second chance plus of course they do
not provide telephone support because they are to stingy. If companies
like Vonage and voip.co.uk can give free calls and still provide
telephone support and provide a person to answer the phone Sipgate
can.
Believe me Ivor if I had the chance and the opportunity to put that
damned company of business I would they are NOT fit for purpose and
never will be .

Perhaps, if you had the ability to string a simple sentence together
people might take a bit more notice of you ramblings.

FWIW I had problems with Sipgate myself some time ago. Now days
however, they do seem much better and I occasionally use them when it
benefits me.

Sipgate isn't a leopard. Your analogy is false and worthless, even
if it is an old saying.

Let's spell it out for you again. Several people, including myself,
have agreed that Sipgate did in the past provide a substandard
service - but that Sipgate nowadays provides a good service.

Sipgate has changed.
