£7-99 per month?


what was the quality of the calls like is it worth it?
how does it compare to Skype?

Anything is better than Skype, quality of calls good
cost depends on usage if you are making a lot of calls per day
then Vonage is really ok I only got rid of it due to the amount of
calls that I was making dropping considerably.
My call charges using [url]www.voip.co.uk[/url] for last month amounted to
2.49p a saving of five pounds compaired with Vonage I also have a line
from [url]www.voipfone.co.uk[/url] which cost 1.99 pr month which is only used
for calling home using their mobile call back service which gives me
calls back home from the mobile for 0 pence .
Vonage is a good service and well worth the money if your calling
pattern can make use of it ,on the other hand it is only 28p a day if
you do not make any calls and I don't think you can jump on a bus and
go one stop for 28p these days .
Just keep well away from [url]www.sipgate.co.uk[/url] no matter what .

Personally I have found quality of Vonage to be variable, caller ID not
working for many for some months now,accounts dept can be a nightmare.
Check out the vonage forums but I have ben looking at voip.co.uk for
little time now. Purchase price of ATA putting me off as I have couple
in house already tied to Vonage and freetalk even old BT ATA sround
somewhere :)
Anyone know if you can reflash ATA's for another provider?

How does that work? Surely there's a cost for the leg of the call from
voipfone to your mobile? Their prices for mobile calls surely make it
cheaper to simply call home direct?
