If you say so. The fact remains though that bandwidth is not a physical
device. The quoted phrase, to which I replied originally, specifically
referred to such. Therefore IMO my logic is perfectly valid.

Now I'm not normally one to side with trolls, but...there seems to be
two standards in operation here. One for Ron Chew, who is castigated
for criticising Sipgate because he doesn't use it, and one for Ivor
Jones, who is allowed to hijack every Skype-related thread and make
ill-founded complaints about bandwidth "theft", even though he doesn't
use it himself.

Point taken, although my complaint as you call it is not ill-founded. Nor
is it really a complaint as such, nor do I hijack every Skype related
thread. I certainly don't bring Skype into a thread about something else
as a means of attacking someone in the way Ron does about Sipgate to have
a go at me.

I tell you what, I will never mention Skype again if Ron agrees never to
mention Sipgate again. That's fair, isn't it..?!

Although I won't hold my breath.

Well no, it's not fair really, because you know for a fact that he will
never stop going on about Sipgate. And before you complain that it's
one rule for him and another rule for you, bear in mind that if you
don't want to keep your "troll" badge, embroidered tie and membership
card, you need to aspire to be better than one.
