Default help - access bt talk with wireless kit?

hei - i'm looking for some advice please. i know a bit about pcs, but this voip stuff is a little baffling.

my current setup is a wireless network based on a linksys wireless modem/router and bt 8mb broadband.

i want to take advantage of the voip line/number offered by bt wirelessly at the other end of the house to the router.
i spent ages trying to integrate the bt hub into the wirelss network as their sales people told me it would before finally giving up and deciding it just wasn't compatible.

i've been doing a bit of research and have come up with a linksys WBP54G Wireless-G Bridge for Phone Adapters and something like the Linksys SPA921 1-Line VoIP Telephone. i've stuck to linksys to avoid compatibility issues and the router has been excellent.

can anyone tell me if this is a reasonable bit of kit, and most importantly, will i be able to configure it to work with my bt broadband talk number? bt seems to be a bit non standard.

my last afternoon spent being kicked from pillar to post by bt "support" left me feeling averse to repeating the experience so any advice will be gratefully received.

cheers
