PaP2 Firmware

Somebody PM'd me the other day asking if i knew where to get a PAP2 firmware.... deleted your PM by accident!

No it is for all PAP2's!

There is no seperate firmware needed for unlocked or locked devices.

However if your device is locked to a network you will not be able to upgrade the firmware without entering the admin password. If you have an ex-vonage device which you have hacked, upgrading it's firmware will not re-lock the device.

However doing a factory reset will re-lock the device to it's original provider.

Thanks for that very rapid reply-I am impressed! One small problem, I am with Vonage and so far haven't been able to access the configuration pages of the device. Any ideas?

You cannot upgrade your PAP2 if it's locked to vonage, Vonage will upgrade your device automatically if they decide to.

You can unlock PAP2's that were or are locked to vonage but I have never done this as I never used Vonage. Best thing to do is try here:
