Hmm... I've not use the BT Voyager 10v myself.

There was an indepth discussion about setting this device up HERE

What i suggest is PM a couple of members from that thread and see what they say.

If you can actually do anything i'll be down to finding a different firmware about on the net somwhere i'd imagine.

Hope this helps.

Matt

Hi Matt,

I was one of the contributors to that thread but am by no means a guru on its inner workings. I just spent quite a while simply trying to get the thing to work as it should!

I did come across this tho. It doesn't specifically mention the 10V but it might prove useful.

Cheers Ian,

Just had a poke about on the net myself to see i f i could find anything... BT voyager don't seem to offer much info on the 10v at all!

If you forward any 10v firmware file over to me i can have a look at it. Not sure if they encode them, what language the use in them etc... but imight be able to mod some kind of cruel hack on to it!

Matt

That's easier said than done Matt! You upgrade the firmware using the router interface but you don't get a chance to save the file anywhere, you just click "upgrade" on the interface and it does it all for you and says when it's done. Don't even know what website it goes to or where it downloads the file onto my pc. Nothing in my temp directory. It's all a mystery

But, there is a general BT voyager website here that covers other Voyager routers.

Perhaps one of the other 10V users here knows?

hmmm, interesting. The reason i asked is because they go for well cheap on ebay. e.g.1 eg2 if they could be unlocked that would be ideal. I currently have no spare funds (in the middle of moving house and everything is going into that) i really want to get a sip gateway, but it would take ages to pay foritself cause im not a heavy phone user.
