Using VOIP with Sipdiscount but cannot use phone keys - help

As mentioned in the question, I am using VOIP with Sipdiscount, but when calling say my bank or similar where there are phone options to key in, this never works.
It works fine when calling from a landline phone not using VOIP. Who can help??

Welcome to the forum Computer.

Before I can help i need a little more information on your setup.

What device are you using to connect to SipDiscount? Softphone, if so which one? What operating system, whats your network setup (are you behind a router, firewall etc...) Connection speed, etc... basicly any information you cna provide that you think may help!


Hardware, if so which one. What model, firmware etc...

Here are the requested details:

I am using Sipdiscount as the VOIP provider,
I use an AVM FritzBox Fon WLAN 7050 (which is a router with an integrated firewall) Firmware-Version 14.04.01,
I use a normal phone (AEG) with touch tone facilities- no problems at all with VOIP calls as such apart from my question,
I have DSL 2000,
use Windows XP and Avira AntiVir Personal Edition Classic.

See if you can find on the fritz box you are using a way of changing DTMF mode.. set it to SIP INFO, i think its SIP INFO.. if not try inband
