Have you considered the new nokia Eseries phones, from what i have seen they have SIP built right into the operating system and are wifi, so will do the job with style! the new Nseries phones (n80 N91 etc) seam to have the sip built into the OS but nothing to make it work, but i would imagin an application will be along later to unleash this.

Default Hi

Hi
well I got one after all that and found it a bit difficult to set up, but I am with www.voip.co.uk ..called them up and said how do I get it to work - guy said he didn't know, but would find out and call me back. 30 minutes later he called back gave me instructions on phone. Next morning I was emailed aguide to setting up for voip.co.uk. !
If you got the newer "G" fone keep trying its unbelievable fun, I go into the city and fone beeps everytime it finds an open wifi connection (often) for this I want to sincerely thank PCworld - who sold wifi routers to every man woman and child without any talk of security
One street near where I live has open networks in nearly every house - they must be all using one anothers broadband!
good luck
