Decided to take the plunge with a new laptop....
Sony Vaio VGN-S1XP/C Very very very tasty piece of kit. My model comes with 1gig ram, 100gig drive, and a rather nippy Centrino Dual core Processor T2400. Made out of carbon fiber so it works out at about 1.5kg. Sony Vaio Page I would say the only problem I have found with it so far is the amount of junk that sony pre-load on to the machine. Saps so much power as standard. First thing i did was wipe it (including a stealthy partition sony put in for backup reasons), and reinstall clean XP. Bit of a mission since sony dont provide a recovery CD in with it. Tut tut. Matt Edit: Picture attached. Login to see.
