Newsgroup Forums Modification

Since new users still continue to spam the newsgroup forums, i will shortly implement a rule so that users cannot post in these forums until a certain amount of posts have already been made elsewhere.

I'm not sure on how many posts yet, probably something like 20. Comments welcome.

Until I implement this, no users will be able to post in these forums.

I would suggest more like 40+ as it would be easy to spam up to 20....

And / Or allowing Admin / Mods just restrict access to the newsgroups should anyone break the rules?

This may be a little trickier than it sounds.... hmmm. I'll have a ponder on that one and see what i can come up with. Might have to create some user groups to make this work best.
