Hello

Nice to meet you on the forum.

I work for a VoIP provider, Tempura Communications, so if you have any questions, please let me know.

If you want to get started on VoIP you will need the following

Broadband connection (preferably uncontended)
VoIP handset
Broadband router
Ethernet cable
SIP account

Hope this helps

If you have any questions, please let me know

Mike

Default Hello everyone - Practical steps for Asterisk

Just thought you might like to know of some free VoIP events which focus on Asterisk, in April and May 2007.

The team at OpenAdvantage do not sell anything but are in place to promote and encourage the adoption of VoIP; Asterisk and other Open Source software.

By delivering information and skills training including installing, setting up multiple extensions and configuring Asterisk software we hope our help goes a long way to it's adoption and enable small ICT businesses to become providers of support.

Plus side: everything is free.
The only downside is that places are limited to those in the counties of West Midlands, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and Herefordshire in the UK - due to funding.
