Voipstunt
I have been using voipstunt for over a year. It is definitely a no frills provider but is probably the cheapest around and the call quality is good. I live in Spain and use the service for phoning family in the UK and Greece. The great thing is that if you take your laptop on holiday, you can also phone everyone for free from any wifi site, e.g. on campsites (usually in the bar). I have read that the SMS service is pretty unreliable with voipstunt but, if you can phone for free, why bother to text. There is no customer service to speak of but I have had absolutely no problems, so havent needed that. I pay 11 euros perhaps once a year: generally I use this up by phoning people on mobiles but the PC to landline calls are free for the majority of places I would want to call.
