Wink BT Voyager 10v

This BT box is a total Pain in the arse... true to form BT have locked it down to there servers "nothing new there then"

but good old BT have encrypted the config and firmware files

I've tried kicking it around the house and giving it to the dogs to chew on but alas to no avail
The GUI is not of any use to me my network or the dogs

Telnet into the offering as admin/admin you quickly find out admin is there to slap you into place and make it quite clear what the hell do you think you are doing telneting into a BT Voyager 10v anyway

so I put it in the microwave at full power for 2 minutes

very pleasing and satisfying pops bangs and flashes

I must admit that hacking kit with a microwave oven is an unqualified failure :) we live and learn

from telnet you can set all the SIP peramiters
and with simple joy and happyness you do a flash save + reboot

Oh! No you uppety little telneter, thats not going to work

If voyager 10v carn't regester with sip.btsip.bt.net
there is NO reg path to anything on the face of the earth. If it's possible for the words DNS Query Error to smuggly grin at you!!!

right I need a clue here guys

I have 5 10v's left

but microwaving stuff is fun and I get bored easily

:))

grin

all the best
