Hi Paddlerjohn
I think Skype needs to make that crossover from a pc application to a mobile/portable voip solution. For example if mobile phone providers were to start offering skype as a built in extra to handsets then I really think it could take off-they could simply charge for the data used or by minutes used as they do now on normal xnetwork calls. I believe some of the new Nokia phones may have this capability soon. I certainly would give it a go, especially if you are using a 3g phone with good signal coverage. Fred. |

As far as I know, you can buy skype phones that work with your landline (including wireless handsets). They basically let you use your landline normally, but if you press a button it links up via skype. Also, nokia do have a voip phone coming out. If you go to their site you should be able to find it under 'business phones'. Its an 'E70'(?) not too sure.
