Default Porting number from Cable and Wireless

Hi,

Does anyone know a VOIP provider who allows numbers to be ported from Cable and Wireless?

We currently use Voipfone (very happy with them), but they unable to port a number from Cable and Wireless at this time. They think it will be a 'number of months' before this is possible.

Thanks

Daniel.

P.S If anyone know a more complicated route - i.e port from CW to XY and then form XY to Voipfone, then this would be fine!

Hi,

Unfortunately I think you are out of luck...

C&W/NTL/Virgin don't have any porting arrangements in place at the moment, so you will struggle to find any VoIP provider who can bring your number over.

I do think it is being worked on, however don't expect it any time soon!

Matt
