Default Newbie - Small business

Hi

I run a company that has three brands but typically only one or two people answering the phone

Aprt from telephony the business is very web based and could really be done from anywhere

Currently we use Twin chanell ISDN, DDI numbers and a samsung switchboard (cost about £2k) and have an SDSL line for net (we run a couple of websites from the office)

I am moving offices out of my exchange

So my business has to start again wiht new numbers

I dont want to lose my numbers again even if we change location

I am thinking of going locationless with my new brand numbers

we could get 0844 (?) numbers and rebuild our system at the new premesis getting broadband + ISDN installled and filtering the incoming calls using DDI

This all feels a bit 1990s to me

I thought I could blow my whole telephony budget on getting a 3mb synchronos (spelling!) net connection (from BT?)

And go VOIP

My dream is for each of our brand to have its own number

and to use an online control panel to forward call either to the right place in our office or maybe to a landline or mobile if the relevant staff is on the road or homeworking (or to a message that can be picked up on the web if we miss a call)

In and out call tracking/reporting would of course be handy too

Actual call cost are not too important bacause the business is faily high cost low volume

Is this a dream or can you give me some startpoints please

FYI my current spend is £125 PCM on the SDSL and the ISDN rental on top,

TIA

MM
