Security and SIP based VoIP Networks

Hi all,

For a research project at Uni i am researching the following questions -

What is the Impact of Security Protocols in Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) based VoIP Networks?

I have done research into this area, but I am looking for the opinions of regular VoIP users, professionals, etc.

Any opinions, would be of great help.
