I am using NTL 4MB connection that has a 400kbps upload, It cost's me £24.99 and is uncapped, I use Voipfone at £1.99 a month & Voip.co.uk which costs me £19.99 a year and comes with loads of free calls!

400kbps upload? I'm with NTL on the 10MB connection and I'm sure I only get 256kbps upload

None the less I have to say NTL have been pretty good for me over the past year or two. I've been with them for about 5 years, maybe more, and at the beginning their service and reliability was very poor, competitive prices however the service suffered for it. In recent years however the reliability has been excellent and as a result I haven't had to deal with the customer service side of things (so I'm afraid I can't comment there). They keep increasing the speed of their connections for free, which seems to be encouraging other providers to follow suit. All in all, I'm pretty happy :)

My mistake, you're right!

Although I couldn't find that information on the NTL website - Thats one thing I do hate about NTL, that website! I always find it very difficult finding any detailed information, however one of those broadband speed tests confirmed that I am actually getting 512kbps!

I used them ages ago, were terrable for a long period, but seems that they have bucked up their ideas recently.

Also heard that Virgin were sniffing about NTL looking to buy?
