I'm unfamiliar with you B2K adapter.... do you use a PC somewhere in your setup, or is it purely a handset only operation.

It is more than possible, just i'll taylor my answer depending on what you say! Do you want automatic recording, or just manual? Where do you want it recording to, harddrive?

Default Hi Matt

A B2K adapter is a Voip Gateway which plugs into my pc and into my telephone line, which I plug in a regular telephone See http://www.alibaba.com/catalog/11214...B_Adaptor.html
I would only record the occasionnal conversation.

Hmm,

Although i haven't used this particular piece of software, i have used their IVR software which was pretty good.

I think they offer a trial period HERE.

But if your looking at something really basic you could even just use windows sound recorder, make sure your audio is set up to come in on the "line in" and hit record.

Are you looking for a hardware or software solution?

I use voip cheap and have recently installed the popular x-lite softphone (free) it has record as standard, just put in your voip cheap user name paswword and put sip.voipcheap.com in the domain and then it replaces your voipcheap software, ive not tried to see if it can be used for IM yet, but you can revert back to the original voipcheap software forthat.
link here for X-litesoftphone with record

yeah i had a version of xten (not sure which version, or even where i got it from lol), but i wasnt very kean, then found X-Lite v3.0 as posted in the above link and it is nice, simple to use and seams to do a lot, to do even more you have to pay for the full eyebeam version.

The new (releast 1st June) version (X-Lite v3.0) does record Ive tested it. it records as WAV tho so the files are unnecessarily large, but unless your recording a whole lot that shouldnt be a problem, and you could allways compress them after if needed.
