Default Skype Function Added To Profile

I have added a function to the forum where users can input their skype username in their profile. As you can see below...... it adds a button under your posts, and adds a button in your view profile section too!

Figured it was a good mod considering we are a VoIP forum!

If anyone has any problems with it. Please PM me and let me know.

Cheers

Matt

P.S. I will add "active" functionality to the buttons soon. As in, if you online with skype, you get a blue icon, offline, red icon etc....

Whey for skype

You need to make a new button for it though. looks terribly out of place.

Hmm... do you need to install easy mod on a vanilla phpbb install, or can i use it on this modded version?

Hmmmm easy MOD is designed to work on a vanilla board with no other MOD's installed, once you use it with various MOD's installed or with a different template it has been known to f**k things up!

I never use easy MOD, and I get loads of people contact me daily asking for help because easyMOD has screwed up their forums after trying to install a MOD using it!

Want my advice?

Don't use it!

Yeah, it takes the ball out of my court, thats what i dont like.

For now i'll stick with the time consuming manual way i think, at least i know what i've done when the 500 errors start jumping up!

easymod only becomes a problem when you ignore the warnings it gives. It will tell you if it wont work and you need to do it yourself. And it wont make mistakes like a human so i'd say is better.
