You guys running asterix (or whatever it's called now) what sort of spec PC's are you running it on. I had a hunt round but couldnt find anything on specs.
Obvisouly it will depend on volume of calls. But is it RAM thats need or just raw speed? |

It's not asterix! It's asterisk... So many people can't even say the word!
Trixbox is a rebrand of Asterisk @ Home... There is also just Asterisk.. which you install yourself on linux. First two require better specs apparently. Worked fine with 96Mb RAM, 3Gb HDD, 500Mhz... I've upgraded now though ![]() |

Appogies for the mispeeling
Im currently running a server thats 256RAM 500Mhz but unfortunaly it looks like theres no way of installing trixbox without formatting the hard drive. looks like im going to have 3 PC's running in my room now. |
