Actually I am only experimenting and you can subscribe sipgatre for free. I was talking to someone earlier on and got cut off twice, but I am not sure whether it was my fault or hers.

Hhmmm, I think this is the phone used by Lootenent () Uhura on Star Trek of old. I need something much more pedestrian, after all it is only a house phone. My old cordless will do just fine.

Here we start talking megabucks..... Is the hefty price tag attached to the item you mention worth spending? On the same site I saw this. Would it be OK? It doesn't seem to mention an internal modem at all. Otherwise, can I go to, say, PCWorld and buy a bog standard £40 router (and attach an ATA, like the one you suggested at about £44) or do I need to ask for something very specific?
Also, if I cannot use the FritzBox, who does? Everybody must be in the same boat

Cheers,

Andrea
