What equipment to get?
Since I need to get a router as well, I would like to get something that will be as easy as possible to set up. Matt advised me to get the bit from voipfone (I think) which is only a converter though.
On sipgate I have found this which, if I understand correctly, is a wireless router, plus a converter for the phone. It costs £128 including delivery, and it doesn't seem that steep, or is it? Compared to other prices I have found on the internet for the same product, it was the cheapest. I was looking at at Netgear's WGR826V but it got a terrible review. In any case I would like a wireless router and an adapter for the phone and if they are in one, all the better. I stress again that I will be using Telewest and an as yet unspecified VoIP provider!!
Any suggestions?
I would really like to make my purchase early next week to make sure that everything works before I move in a couple of weeks or so.
