for the exact bandwidth consumed by most VoIP codecs.

As you can see G.723 is the minimum among all with around 20Kbps over
all bandwidth consumption.

You must have some kind of QoS to get clear sound for both ends and
higher ADSL bandwidth other wise it's impossible to have decent VoIP.
