I have, since years, a german (+49 40) and a UK number (+44 20) with
Sipgate.
There is a few Euro on the german account, no credit at all on the UK
account.
Both working fine for incoming calls, numbers never were deleted because no
credit or so...

Using sipgate.co.uk only for outging 0800 numbers in UK
Same for sipgate.de: only for special numbers in Germany.
For all other outgoing I'm using one of the Betamax free calls providers

But indeed, I guess no guarantee that these will be numbers for life ;)
