Completely agree. I have a relatively cheap low capacity UPS which
will keep my ADSL modem, pap2, WiFi access point and DECT base station
going for over 24 hours in the event of a mains failure.

Silly not to, IMHO.

In the last two years my VOIP system has been as reliable as my fixed
phone line.
