After spending the usual few hours trying every conceivable PAP2
option, I finally got it to connect on Sunday evening. Success was
shortlived, however, and for the past couple of days it has refused to
connect saying:
Can't connect to login server

Care to read off the "Proxy & registration settings" (advanced mode)
giving the following:

Proxy:
Use Outbound Proxy: yesno
Outbound Proxy:
Use OB Proxy In Dialog: yesno
Register: yesno
Make Call Without Reg: yesno
Register Expires:
Ans Call Without Reg: yesno
Use DNS SRV: yesno
DNS SRV Auto Prefix: yesno
Proxy Fallback Intvl:
Voice Mail Server
