Hmmm....

Well, i can't remember if the Snom 300 has an RTP keep alive option (may depend on the firmware version you are running)...

I would suggest:

1. Upgrade to latest firmware
2. Look for an RTP keep alive option and enable.
3. Failing that, enable "Silence Suppression" (the phones sends background noise to the other end when no audio is being sent).
