Hi, I am looking to setup a viop setup in our new office. and need some help with what I will need.

I have a negear router with a 2mg broadband connection, and would like to run six phones within the office. Will 2 mg be enough for voip?

Apart from buying the IP phones is there any other hardware that I would need?

Do I connect the phones directly into the router? or can I connect them into a switch because my router only has 4 ports?

Any help or suggestions would be great?

I am also looking for a supplier here in the UK any suggestions would be great?

I am new to voip so any information would be great.
